Mail2World, Inc. is a licensee of the TRUSTe Privacy Program. This privacy statement discloses the privacy practices for http://www.mail2world.com/. Privacy Principles
Principle 1. We will limit the collection and use of customer
information to the minimum required for us to deliver superior service to you. Mail2World
will explicitly ask for information that personally identifies you (Personally Identifiable Information), such as your first and last name, state and zip code (or country
and postal code for non-U.S. residents), gender, year of birth, and occupation. This information will be collected during the account registration process. You may update this information at any time from within your Mail2World account
by clicking the 'Options' button on the navigation bar, and then clicking on the
'Profile' link.
Principle 2. You may access your Personally Identifiable Information at any time to make changes. If your Personally Identifiable Information changes, you may update this information at any time from within your Mail2World account by clicking the 'Options' button on the navigation bar, and then clicking on the 'Profile' link. To change your email address, you must create a new account and select a new domain name, etc. If you no longer desire our service, please email your request to delete your email address and Personally Identifiable Information along with your username and password to our Customer Support Dept. at support@mail2world.com or by contacting us by postal mail at Customer Support Dept., Mail2World, Inc., 1100 Glendon Ave., Suite 925, Los Angeles, CA 90024. Or you may simply not use your email account, in which case it will automatically deactivate after 30 days of non-use.
Principle 3. We will safeguard any information that you provide
to us. Your Personally Identifiable Information and email address is used only for demographic statistics, to display appropriate individualized advertisements, process credit card payments and purchase domain names. Mail2World keeps all of your Personally Identifiable Information and email addresses private, sharing that information only as necessary with the following third parties: 1) LinkPoint International (limited to credit card authentication and processing when you purchase premium or value-added email services), P.O. Box 2048, Simi Valley, CA 93062 USA, phone: (888) 477-3611, email support@linkpoint.com, and 2) eNom, Inc. (limited to registering your email domain names), 2002 156th Ave. NE, Suite #300, Unigard Park, McKinley Building, Bellevue, WA 98007 USA, phone: 425.274.4500, email info@enom.com. Except for the third-party organizations listed here, Mail2World will not disclose your Personally Identifiable Information or email address unless acting under a good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (1) conform to legal requirements or comply with legal process; (2) protect and defend the rights or property of Mail2World; (3) enforce the Mail2World Terms of Service; or (4) act to protect the interests of its members or others. We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site.
Principle 4. We will always maintain control over the
confidentiality of our customer information. We may facilitate relevant offers
from companies that you have expressed interest in. Mail2World will not send you
any unsolicited information, including email, except as mentioned below. New
users will receive a Mail2World welcome letter explaining the features provided
by the service. Under exigent circumstances, Mail2World may be required to send
you information about the service or your account. As a feature of the service,
Mail2World will provide customers with a membership email newsletter,
Tell-A-Friend service announcements, upgrade notifications and other
service-related information. Mail2World will not send you unsolicited email
regarding any commercial offers or advertisements at any time.
Principle 5. The Mail2World contains links to other web sites and assumes no responsibility for content or policies of those sites. Please note that when you follow one of these links, you are entering another web site. We encourage you to read the Privacy Policies on the other sites, as their privacy policies may be different than ours.
Principle 6. You may opt-out of receiving all Mail2World communications except the 'Site & Service' administrative notifications. Site & Service notifications are critical to your email service operation. Other communications include the Mail2World Membership Newsletter. You may opt out of receiving the newsletter by selecting 'Options' on the Mail2World site, clicking on 'Profile' to access your personal profile information, and finally, deselecting the newsletter option (unchecking the checkbox) near the bottom of the page.
Principle 7. You will be notified of any changes in our email practices, Personally Identifiable Information collection processes, the way we use that information or our privacy policy itself. If we decide to make changes in our email practices, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, the homepage, and other places we deem appropriate so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If we make material changes to the way we use your email address, we will notify you here, by email, or by means of a notice on our home page. If we are going to use your Personally Identifiable Information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify you via email. You will have a choice as to whether or not we use your information in this different manner. In addition, if we make any material changes in our privacy practices that do not affect user information already stored in our database, we will post a prominent notice on our web site notifying users of the change. In some cases where we post the notice we will also email users, who have opted to receive communications from us, notifying them of the changes in our privacy practices.
Principle 8. Surveys and Contests will be featured from time to time on the Mail2World site. Mail2World will manage all information collected during those activities. There may be instances where when the information is shared with partners in specific projects (contests, for example, where a third-party becomes a substantial partner). However, no Surveys or Contests have ever been conducted, and Mail2World has no plans to conduct such Surveys and Contests. If there is a time when a Survey or Contest is conducted, we will inform participants as to what information will be collected and which third party will receive the information.
Principle 9. Mail2World offers and encourages you use the 'Tell a Friend' feature, which helps you inform others about the Mail2World service. If you're pleased with the Mail2World service and want to recommend it to others, we suggest you use this handy form: http://www.mail2world.com/tell_a_friend.asp. Your friend(s) will receive a one-time email notification, which you may view and edit (optional) when you submit the form.
NOTE: Mail2World stores your friend's email address in order to contact him or her. That email address may be removed through the following steps: send an email to support@mail2world.com requesting the email be removed from our 'Tell a Friend' program.
Principle 10. We will attempt to keep customer files complete, up-to-date, and accurate. We will our inform customers how to notify us about errors, which we will promptly correct. If at any time you believe that Mail2World has not adhered to these principles, please notify us by email at policy@Mail2World.com, and we will use all commercially reasonable efforts to promptly determine and correct the problem.
You may immediately access and update your customer file information at any time from within your Mail2World account by clicking the Options button on the navigation bar, and then clicking on the Profile link. Mail2World will respond to your request submission within one (1) day.

NOTE: Mail2World also occasionally sends promotional email messages offering service upgrades and value-added services as well as announcements and user tips for its own email services. Mail2World does NOT sell or rent email addresses or related Personally Identifiable Information to third parties; however, we do share email addresses and Personally Identifiable Information with some service providers, such as credit-card processing companies, when you purchase value-added or premium email services. The information we share with these third parties is the user's full name and billing address. The information is encrypted, not stored.

Is my Personal Information secure from others using the Mail2World site?
The security of your Personal Information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information, such as a credit card number and/or social security number) on our registration or order forms, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). Mail2World follows generally accepted industry standards to protect the Personally Identifiable Information and email addresses you submit to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100-percent secure, however. During the Mail2World registration process you are given the choice as to
whether you want to be listed in the Mail2World Directory. If you did not make a
choice during the initial registration process, your registered name and
location is listed in the Mail2World Directory. At any time, you can change or
remove your personal information from the Mail2World Directory by clicking the
'Options' button on the navigation bar, and then clicking on the 'Profile' link.
This privacy statement applies specifically to the Mail2World service.
